How Our Wood Replacement Works
Our process
1) Inspect & document: Identify damaged members, measure, photograph, and mark replacement vs. repair.
2) Protect & stabilize: Set containment as needed and shore structural members for safety.
3) Remove & treat: Remove compromised wood; treat remaining adjacent wood for termites/dry-rot where appropriate.
4) Replace & reinforce: Install new lumber to code (or engineer specs), add flashing & moisture barriers.
5) Finish-ready: Prime, caulk, and leave paint-ready (or paint to match when included in scope).
Wood & materials we use
Douglas fir and engineered LVL/PSL for structure; redwood/cedar or primed composite for exterior trim; pressure-treated lumber where ground contact or moisture exists. We match existing dimensions and profiles whenever possible.

Permits, timeline & warranty
We advise when permits/HOA approvals are required and handle documentation if included in scope. Most small jobs finish in 1–3 days; larger structural work may take 3–7+ days depending on access. Workmanship warranty provided; treatment and fumigation warranties follow their respective programs.
